The Bert Crane Trophy is a Mixed Fours Competition played between Yanchep Bowling Club and the Quinns Bowling Club.
The competition has been played annually since 1986, and this year was hosted by the Quinns Bowling Club on Sunday, 11th April.
Five teams of four players each competed for the trophy. The score was two rinks all, with the last rink playing for the outcome of the trophy. Yanchep won the rink by one point on the last end to retain the Bert Crane trophy with a score of three rinks to two.
SCROUNGERS
Scroungers bowls start at Yanchep Sports Club on Saturday, 24th April.
Everyone is welcome, even if you haven't played bowls before but would like to start, Come down and regular players will help you learn the fundamentals of the game.
Junior players are most welcome too. Come and get on the green and have some good social fun.
