Although it was a little wet initially the fine weather prevailed and it turned into a lovely day. The team of Sandy Sherwood and Penny Haynes took first prize with a fantastic score of 37 points. Second place was Maria Glover and Sue Comber with 36 points followed by Jill Brennan and Wendy Gilchrist in third place with 33 points. There was only one nearest the pin on 8 which was won by Sandy Sherwood whose drive was within a metre of the pin.

The Tuesday ladies competition on 9th June was a stroke competition. The best gross score went to Jill Brennan who had a 93 off the stick. The best net score went to Bridget Tierney with a fabulous 74. Four players followed with a 77 net. The runner up was Maryanne Schmidt on a count back from Helen Spalding, Marg Anderson and Penny Haynes.

The nearest the pins were won by Maureen Crow on the 3rd, Sandy Sherwood on the 8th and Maryanne Schmidt on the 17th.
