About 1.00pm, on Sunday, 25th July, a 70 year old man and a woman, 33, were airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital after a car crash on Lancelin Road.

Police said one vehicle crossed over to the wrong side and crashed into another vehicle.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged, while the driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

A 19 year old Muchea man is in intensive care at Royal Perth Hospital after he was accidently shot in the stomach.

It is understood the teenager was riding in the back of a ute on a rural property, when the firearm went off.

He was rushed to Joondalup Health Campus where he underwent surgery, and later transferred to, Royal Perth Hospital intensive care unit.

It is unclear if it was the man's own gun which discharged the shot.
