The Sun City News is calling for readers’ submissions for’ My Story’, a new feature to start soon. Contributions must be original and generally between 500 and 550 words in length, and be accompanied by a photograph to be published with the article.
‘My Story’ articles are readers’ submissions that can be a short story, an opinion/viewpoint or about an experience you would like to share with Sun City News readers. Submissions may be edited for clarity.
The photo needs to be relevant to the article and not incumbered with copyright issues.
So here is your chance to get your story published. Each article will carry the author’s byline.
Email your submission, photo and contact details to editor@suncitynews.com.au. On receipt of your submissions, the Sun City News will inform you of the publication date of your article.
Sun City News editor, Terry Loftus said: “I’ve seen this type of feature in a number of independent overseas newspapers and I hope our readers are willing to submit their stories.”
