Some of the students came up with the idea of ‘Model of the Month’.

Miss Rafferty, is a keen photographer and worked with the students to create the model of the month concept.

The Sun City News agreed to publish selected photos supplied by the group. Additionally, the group has started a web page to promote the monthly winners.

The first model chosen was one of the original students who came up with the concept, Miss Abbie Perry.

Sixteen year old Abbie, is currently attending Mindarie Senior College and takes dance lessons at APA Stageworks.

Abbie’s photography assign-ment included shoots at Yanchep National Park, Fisherman’s Hollow, Yanchep and at the Atlantis Marine Park.

Miss Rafferty said: "Abbie was really easy to photograph, such a beautiful young lady."
