Thong-throwing, esky races, camel rides, snake wrangling and live performances will all be part of the fun at the free Capricorn Festival at Yanchep this Saturday.
This popular annual festival will extend into the evening with the Doo Daddies on stage rocking the best of Chicago blues from 5.45pm.
More than 50 stalls and activities will be at the Old Nursery Park site, providing a range of gifts, fresh food, local arts and crafts and produce.
Capricorn’s chief executive officer, Russel Perry, said he was delighted with the growing size and popularity of the festival, now in its fourth year.
“The increasing number of stallholders and activities is testament to the success of the event and the hard work of the community,” Dr Perry said.
“I am pleased that this year we can hold the festival at the magnificent Old Nursery Park, a showpiece of the Capricorn development. I encourage everyone to come along an enjoy a family day out.”
The Capricorn Festival will be at Old Nursery Park, at the corner of Yanchep Beach and Two Rocks Road, Yanchep from 3.30pm.
