Well it's not true.

I usually work about 80 to 100 hours a week.

So that leave me a few hours to share time with my wife and take a few hours break.

Some may say - "How dare he!!"

But if you started tapping on the computer keys at 4.00am in the morning, and don't turn the computer off until after 8.00pm that night.

As well as chasing news articles for the next edition, you receive 50 phone calls a day, and sift through over 200 emails each day, who wouldn't get a bit peeved off when someone rings you on a Sunday morning to complaining about a six foot electrical fence that is going to be installed on the foreshore.

It turns out the six foot electrical fence really is an environmental fence about one metre tall to help protect the local foreshore. There no electricity involved with the fencing at all.

So where do these people come up with these crazy ideas?

I'm well aware there are some strange substances being sold in the district, but surely there a better explanation.

Over the next few days, months and years I will be keeping Sun City News readers informed of some of the highlights, low-lights and strange calling that, as an editor, I receive.
