The 25th day of April, ANZAC Day, is probably one of the most important day in Australian history.
I won't go on about the importance of the day, but to declare 27th April a public holiday is stupid.
It's my understanding only WA and the Australian Capital Territory have declared 27th April a public holiday.
So if its a public holiday, then why are all the shop, supermarkets, etc open?
The 27th April has no significance whatsoever and ANZAC Day should be kept sacred and true to its imprtant date - 25th April.
What do you think?
