In the City of Wanneroo election just over 20 percent have bothered to vote - That 80 out of 100 not voting.

It's disgraceful!

At the Shire of Gingin just over 50 percent have voted in the Ledge Point Ward.

So, after the vote count on Saturday night, there's every chance most people won't have a clue who their local councillor will be.

So, the next time you want to whinge about what the council not doing, or that they are charging too much, or they don't liosten to you - Well, just remember that closr to 80 percent of the residents didn't vote, and there's a good chance you are one of those non-voters.

In the end you get what you deserve!
