It looks very likely that the Carbon Tax is 'All Systems Go', so why wouldn't the government consider including a Fart Tax as part of the new Carbon Tax system?
A couple of year's ago, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) suggested the federal government should consider a 'cow fart tax.'
Back in 2003, New Zealand farmers were being asked to cough up millions of dollars a year to help greenhouse effects caused by flatulence from sheep and cattle.
Farmers said the plan stinks.
A 2010, United Nations report revealed that animal products, both meat and dairy, causes higher emissions than plant-based alternatives.
Instead of just asking the top 500 poluters to pay the new Carbon Tax, why would you consider a 20 cents a day, per cow or sheep fart tax?
Alternatively, it could be extended to include humans too! - One dollar person, per week.
Just work out the numbers - $52.00 per person per year.
That about $1.35 billion per year in extra tax.
Worldwide it astronomical - It's gotta be in the trillions of dollars, surely that would fix a few of the world's problems.
What do you think?
