Why does it appear that our major roadway are considered dumping grounds for all kinds of rubbish?
I'm sick and tired of seeing fast food packaging and drink contains as apart of the permanent landscape on our streets.
Surely we have some pride in our community.
Personally, I think a 10 cents per item deposit tax on all disposable rubbish should be mandatory.
The deposit tax should include all fast food packaging, all drink bottles and cans, and various other items.
Its pretty simple - If you are going to litter, you pay.
It's bull s*#t to say everything is going to cost more. That the spruiking of the manufacturers, fast food outlets and the packaging industry.
They don't want to be responsible or get involved in cleaning up our roads.
In fact, the packaging industry have threatened the Keep Australia Beautiful organisation regarding funding.
This obnoxious industry does not support the South Australian KAB because they have a deposit system.
It time all decent Australians did something before we become just one giant rubbish dump of an island.
What do you think?
