Back on track

While thinking about what to blog about, I've had a multitude of ideas flash through my unbalanced mind.

After re-assessing my original thoughts, I dropped several suggestions, in the hope to reduce the time I spent with my defamation lawyer.

At $350.00 per hour, that could be quite a substantial savings.

Maybe I should start planning a holiday!

As it is the first day of the new financial year, the stockmarket is still heading south, the Chinese investors have lost interest in converting the Sun City News office into a Chinese supermarket - That's probably disappointed a couple of local trogdolytes.

And finally, the Sun City News is not for sale, unless you have about ten million reasons to convince me differently.

So, where now?

I tried to re-invent my multi powered skull cap that get me going, but in the below freezing freakish weather, its shorted out.

So I'm off to the Good Guys for a new helmet.

So while I'm looking at the latest model brain stimulators, why don't you tell me about your latest escapade.

When is the Yanchep Boardwalk going to be removed? When it is finally dismantled will the City of Wanneroo commit to building a dual use path connecting the Ocean Lagoon Estate to the Compass lookout? When they take it away I would like to see the pathway constructed immediatley after as I and many other Yanchep Residents walk across the Boardwalk most days during our daily exercise. We deserve something in return for this complete stuff up and waste of Ratepayers Funds.

What a great question.

It appears it takes longer to get the appropriate state government approvals to demolish the structure than it does to build it.

I note the council budgeted $300,000 for the removal of the boardwalk - What a waste of money!

$750,000 to build it, $300,000 to pull it down, and nothing has been said about Peet & Co's $175,000 contribution - Does this have to be refunded too?

If you lived behind it you would want it removed.

I guess they quoted a high figure so people would object to removing it.

Whoever put it there should offset the cost.of removal.

The steel can be used elsewhere and Peet & Co should not have put money into such a silly structure so should not have compensation they should contribute to the removal.
