Just over a week ago, I published my view for the fiture vision for Yanchep, inviting others to express their views.
To my surprise, several people believe 'nothing should change.'
So I asked the questions:
1. Do you still want two outer northern suburbs without a major shopping centre?
2. Do you still want a sub-standard public transport system?
3. Do you still want sub-standard infrastructure facilities?
4. Don't our kids deserve to have access to a full local education system?
5. Finally, surely everyone wants to see the biggest asset of the region, our magnificent Yanchep Lagoon, preserved, upgraded and established to an acceptable standard.
Currently, everyone is willing to complain about what they haven't got, but at the same time they complain about any change.
You can't have both - you need to make a choice!
